 Quick Pasta with Basil Pesto By Ina Paarman 

A quick and easy lunch or diner. The Basil Pesto is very healthy and the cottage cheese provides protein



Bring the water to the boil, add pasta and cook fast for 8 – 10 minutes or according to pack instructions. Drain in a colander. Return the pasta to the pot. Toss with oil, Pasta Spice and Basil Pesto. Serve topped with a generous spoonful of cottage cheese.




You will need:
  • measuring cup
  • measuring spoons
  • medium saucepan
  • colander
  • pair of scissors
  • large spoon
  • 6 cups (1 ½ litres) of water
  • 3 cups (250 g) fun pasta, we used dinosaur shapes
  • 1 T (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 t (5 ml) Ina Paarman’s Pasta Spice
  • 125 g Ina Paarman’s Basil Pesto
  • chunky cottage cheese
