MiWay Midlands ULTRA – SA’s Most Iconic Triathlon

Just as you are not a “runner” until you have run Comrades or a “cyclist” until you have done Argus, so goes the saying. you are not a “triathlete” until you have done the MiWay Midlands Ultra.

From humble beginnings, Damian Bradley along with his B-Active crew have grown this event into one of those bucket-list items that every triathlete must do. A locally born and bred Triatlon Series, the Ultra Tri Series is now national with another 3 events (Durban/Sun City/Cape Town) on the yearly tri calendar. Its the Midlands Ultra however which is the pinnacle of the series.

Known for its tough course and the hot conditions that can be experienced at the Midmar Dam Resort in the KZN Midlands, the Midlands Ultra is truly a test of ones fitness and character. The saying goes “if you can finish this event, you can finish any event”.

MiWayLife have put a lot of time and money into growing this series along with Damian and his team and competitors are always in for an experience way beyond you will find at most other events you might happen to enter. Good Value and a great race experience is guaranteed.

This years Midlands Ultra takes place in just over 2 weeks time and the cream of the crop will be heading to Midmar Dam on the 26th November for this years edition of the MiWay Midlands Ultra Tri
