Cape Town will soon be hosting of a dinner with legendary Ironman World Champion Sebastian Kienle.
Sebi will be sharing his insightful, and ever honest & entertaining experiences as a high profile pro triathlete over the past 12 years.
SBR are putting on an evening to celebrate the Full Ironman and 70.3 World Champion a few days before his first ever ABSA Cape Epic.
‘Sebi’, as his hoards of fans affectionately know him, started triathlon age 12. He will be racing the world’s most prolific and one of the toughest mountain bike races with 2 x Ironman African Championship winner Ben Hoffman for the Ironman Foundation charity.
Sebi raced off road triathlon back in 2005 winning Xterra Germany before he hit the road earning the 70.3 world champ crowns in 2012 and 2013 and has raced Worlds in Maui.
Those who, like us, were surprised at the way he savaged the field in Vegas to win World 70.3 champs for the first time will learn that experts like Crowle Alexander weren’t. He changed the game, proving the race could be won on the bike, making ultra distance triathlon a much more tactical sport
If you have watched Seb’s Champion speech at Kona 2014 you’ll know that you’re in for a treat of an evening. He’s always honest, humorous and happy to share advice, anecdotes and answer questions of any kind. Watch it here: http://youtu.be/pk6xQPJgPAE
Triathletes and mountain bikers who attend the dinner will have the option of joining Sebi for a late afternoon promenade run before supper where we will encourage questions in an intimate environment with the highly personable and straight talking German uber biker.
